Amor y pan

Synopsis

Meals, occupied chairs and familiar rooms become ways of approaching absence in Paula Melchor’s poems. The collection follows the feeling of belonging to one place while longing for another. Food and hunger connect everyday rituals with the wish to keep loved people close despite distance and change.
