Synopsis

In occupied Poland in 1941, two doctors devise a false typhus epidemic to protect the people of a town on the railway to Auschwitz. Their deception places medical ingenuity alongside armed resistance, as ordinary residents face the risks and moral choices of opposing Nazi rule.
