Synopsis

Psychologist Kris Kelvin reaches a research station above Solaris, a planet covered by a living ocean. The scientists have spent years studying this presence without establishing a shared understanding. Disturbing experiences at the station draw their own memories and inner lives into the investigation. Kelvin must confront both the strange planetary intelligence and the limits of the human categories brought to it.
